an idea that came to me today for the first time, I had some pretzels left uneaten in the morning and they had hardened but I was sorry to throw them away and so I came up with the idea to make his friganele. They came out soft and fluffy ...

  • 2 pretzels
  • 1 or
  • Strawberry jam
  • 1 cinnamon powder and sugar - optional
  • 1 glass of milk
  • a smile

Servings: 2

Preparation time: less than 15 minutes

Put the pretzels in a little milk, cut them in half, add beaten egg and a cinnamon powder and sugar and fry in hot oil! Serve with strawberry jam and a glass of milk.

Simple and good and save the pretzels!

I was craving sesame pretzels, fresh and tender. But as I usually find such pretzels only on the Boulevard that leads to the Great Square and today I didn't get to the center, I decided to cook them myself. Coincidentally, I just bought sesame seeds these days and was really wondering what to do with them.

Sesame seeds are made up of healthy fats, are rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, are a natural source of protein, are free of cholesterol, contain minerals such as iron, zinc, copper, calcium, magnesium, manganese and also a significant amount of vitamin B and E.

I have never prepared this recipe but I found out pretty quickly how easy it is to prepare wonderful sesame pretzels.

Dough ingredients (for 4 pretzels):

  • 1 teaspoon raw sugar
  • 75 ml of lukewarm water
  • 5 gr dry yeast
  • 225 gr flour
  • a pinch of salt
  • 25 ml olive oil
  • 50 ml soy milk with vanilla

Ingredient about:

  • 1 tablespoon soy milk with vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup
  • sesame or poppy seeds

Method of preparation:

Warm water, sugar and dry yeast mix in a bowl and let rise for 10 minutes. Over the sifted flour add salt, olive oil, soy milk and yeast mixture. Knead the dough and leave it to rise, in a bowl greased with olive oil, for an hour.

The fluffy dough is divided into four equal balls. Each ball is further divided in half and each half is rolled on the worktop or in the hands until a string about 40 cm long is formed. The two dough cords are intertwined and joined. The pretzels are placed in a tray, on baking paper, where they are left to rise for another 15 minutes, during which time the oven is heated to 190 degrees.

Grease the pretzels with the mixture of soy milk with vanilla and 1 teaspoon of honey or maple syrup, then sprinkle them with plenty of sesame or poppy seeds. My sesame pretzels browned perfectly in just 35 minutes and were delicious.

Lucky and the sesame pretzel

Even my puppy was eager to taste (a small piece, of course without sesame)!

The reference image and the one in the article belong to me, both being made under the rays of a strong gentle autumn sun.

French pancakes

What else can you invent for breakfast (a meal that comes back to me to cook every morning, by the way)? Sure, you can, if you take the time to do so. What if you wake up in the morning with a piece of hardened bread and two croissants left over from yesterday? If you don't have time to leave the house to buy some fresh ones? Can you get something good out of here? I say you can, if you have a few small things around.

Two eggs, four tablespoons of milk, a tablespoon of olive oil, salt, pepper, some fragrant leaves. Beaten well together.

Basically, that's why old bread was invented. Or vice versa. Fresh bread absorbs too much.

If you put oil in the composition and you have a non-stick pan, you don't have to use another oil for roasting.

Hold the slices of bread for 30 seconds on each side.

Did you solve with the bread? Split each horn lengthwise.

Put the horn halves with the core in the egg and milk mixture.

Fry it for 30 seconds on the soaked side.

That's about it. We liked the raspberry jam and ate the goat milk yogurt skewers.

If there weren't a day of meat on our menu, I'd say we're turning into ovo-lacto-vegetarians. Terrible! :)

Come on, the cheese isn't bad either. Stay healthy.

Cover Polish post

Hi. Too good! & # 8211 these fasting Polish pretzels, which can easily be turned into martyrs on March 9th.

Just model them in the shape of 8. I did them last year and I will do them this year as well.

They are absolutely delicious! Moi, fragrant, with super fasting dough. Package vouchers, dessert vouchers or breakfast, as you choose. I wholeheartedly recommend them!

Ingredients polish post fast

  • 500-550 g of white flour
  • a cube of fresh yeast
  • 250 ml freshly squeezed orange juice & 250 ml commercial juice, without acid
  • a sachet of vanilla sugar
  • 120 g of sugar
  • a teaspoon tip of the tumor
  • a teaspoon of grated orange peel and lemon
  • 30 ml olive oil
  • 1/3 teaspoon salt
  • sugar syrup or honey
  • esenta de rom
  • oil for greasing the dough

How to prepare fasting Polish pretzels.

In a bowl put the yeast, 3 tablespoons of flour and gradually a little warm water, while mixing. You need to get a creamy consistency, which you leave in a warm place for 10-15 minutes.

Put the sugar in the orange juice, adding the grated peel, turmeric and vanilla sugar.

Put on low heat, stirring gently to melt the sugar. The juice should be just a warm idea, not hot.

In a large bowl put flour, olive oil, salt and yeast mixture.

Gradually add the warm juice and start mixing, then knead an elastic dough.

Cover it with a clean napkin and leave it in a warm place for an hour, to double its volume.

When it has risen, turn it over on the oiled top and divide it into 10 equal parts.

Take each ball and spread it thin, rectangular & # 8211 table to be greased with oil.

Lightly grease with oil with a brush, then wrap in a roll & # 8211 see images during cooking.

Cut the roll in half, leaving a cm at the end & # 8211 I used the pizza cutter.

Grab the two ends obtained and twist them, then join the ends and give the shape of the pretzel. The more patience you have, the more beautiful you will come out.

Transfer to a tray lined with baking paper and place the tray in the oven which you preheated.

Bake for 20 minutes at 180 degrees, on the middle step.

Meanwhile, make a water syrup with sugar (100 g sugar, 70 ml water, bring to a boil) in which you put the grated orange peel and rum essence.

After 20 minutes, the pretzels start to brown, carefully remove the tray and brush all the pretzels well, then insert the tray again.

The first step is to dissolve the yeast in water, then let it activate for 5 minutes. Then pour the water with the dissolved yeast over the flour and mix well. After we have mixed the dough a little, we add the salt.

Knead the dough for 10 minutes, until it is not sticky at all and becomes elastic. I also added a little olive oil at the beginning because otherwise it would stick to my hands. After we finish kneading, leave it to rise for 45 minutes.

Meanwhile, bring the water to a boil, and when it starts to boil, add the baking soda. Boil the pretzels one at a time for 1 minute each.

After we have boiled them, we take them out with a spatula in a tray lined with baking paper. Sprinkle with salt and sesame seeds and bake for 12 minutes on high heat in the gas oven. Or, ideally at 290 ° until golden brown.

Our pretzels with salt and sesame are ready and have an extraordinary taste! You must try our recipe too! The only flaw in the recipe is that only 4 pretzels come out and you risk beating them! Good job and good appetite!

Pretzels in caltabosi juice

Here is a new recipe for our Contest sent by Albinuta_eu: Pretzels in caltabosi juice. Participate with your soul recipes HERE! You can win a bread machine or a juicer.

The water

Method of preparation
The pork cheeks are washed very well, scraped carefully and kept in salted water and a little vinegar for a few minutes, then rinse and drain well of excess water. The pork is washed and passed through a meat grinder. Mix with rice, broth, spices, salt to taste.

The obtained composition is kept cold for a few hours, after which it is introduced into the mat with the help of the special tube for stuffing the sausages, mounted on the mincer or by hand because the mats are quite thick. After the mats are filled, tie them well to the ends and prick them with a needle in several places so as not to burst when boiled.

Place in a saucepan, add a little hot water and bring to a boil over low heat. The juice is very tasty, and the hard pretzels are very well soaked in this juice, of course with the caltabosi.

Caltabosii can be stored very well in bags in the freezer and can be removed whenever you need…

Homemade pretzels with salt

This recipe for fluffy pretzels is a Serbian one. The pretzels will come out crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The best pretzels of this kind are found in Timisoara, where pretzels are as big as a palm. The core is fluffy, they are preceded by a salty and delicious mixture, and the exterior is fine and crunchy.

Ingredients for homemade pretzels with salt

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 40 grams of fresh yeast
  • 100 ml of oil
  • 200 ml of warm milk
  • 300 ml of warm water
  • 800 grams of flourFor finishing, we will need the following:
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt

To make our work easier, we put all the food in the bread machine, starting with the liquids and continuing with the solids. Add a tablespoon of the total amount of flour and wait until the yeast is well swollen. Add the flour to a larger bowl and mix with salt. Gradually add the oil and knead until the dough is non-sticky but not too hard. The next step is to grease a clean bowl with a little oil and shape a ball of dough. It is covered and left for a few minutes until it doubles in size.

To prepare the salty mixture for pretzels, put the 3 teaspoons of flour in a bowl. Over, we will add a teaspoon of salt and water. Once the pretzels are made, they should be greased with beaten egg, sprinkled with salted mixture and left in the oven for about 15 minutes at 240 degrees.

Cover in the oven

Our first recipe of 2020 is the recipe for Cover in the oven. It is a recipe inspired by winter and childhood and I thought like these Cover in the oven are a great snack for kids coming from the sleigh! Of course, young and old will love the recipe Cover in the oven equally, because they & # 8230 are delicious!

Baked pretzels - everything you need to know about the recipe & # x1f5a4

  • Cover in the oven with only 2 main ingredients? Yes! Fatty yogurt and flour, these are the main ingredients in our recipe! Simple, right? Add another sachet of baking powder, a pinch of salt to taste and the dough is ready! Once molded, grease the pretzels with beaten egg and sprinkle seeds for extra flavor.
  • You can serve simple pretzels, exactly as they are or you can cut them in half and fill with prosciutto, butter, cream cheese, cheese slices, etc.
  • It is important to use a fatty yogurt, such as Pilos 10% fat yogurt, which you can find in LIDL stores and which I highly recommend. You can replace yogurt with cottage cheese.

  • For the variant of Cover the oven with sweets, you can use fruit yogurt or add to the composition 5 tablespoons of sugar, lemon peel, vanilla essence. After baking, you can glaze the sweet pretzels with 80g vanilla powdered sugar, which you mix with a little water or milk. You will get a liquid icing, which you spread on hot pretzels with a pastry brush.
  • The pretzels keep very well for 3-4 days, in a hermetically sealed bag. You can very well freeze them and heat them in the microwave. They are excellent hot, greased with a little butter.

Ingredients for 8 pieces of baked pretzels

  • 2 cups Greek Pilos yogurt 10% fat
  • 2 dogs make Belbake
  • 1 sachet of Belbake baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Castle salt
  • a beaten egg
  • 2 tablespoons Alesto seed mix

To measure the ingredients we will use a 250ml cup. All the ingredients needed to prepare the recipe for Baked Pretzels are waiting for you in LIDL & # x1f5a4 stores

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C and line the oven tray with baking paper.

In a large bowl put the 2 cups of flour, salt, baking powder. Add the 2 cups of yogurt. Mix with a spoon until we have a homogeneous composition.

We move the dough on the work table, well powdered with flour. Knead until we have an elastic dough that does not stick to our hands. Do not add too much flour, because the dough will become too dense and the pretzels will be hard after baking.

Cut the dough into 8 equal parts. We shape dough balls, we make a hole in the middle, to give the shape of the pretzels. We place them in the tray on baking paper.

Grease the pretzels with beaten egg, then sprinkle with seed mix. Bake the pan for 25-30 minutes or until the pretzels are nicely browned.

I only found 480 and 550 flour so I put both, the idea is not to use 000 flour (that for cakes and fine dough).

For the happy owners of a food processor (I want it more like Arabella's ring :))) it's simple. We put all the ingredients in the robot and knead.

I resorted to the classic method: I rubbed the yeast with the sugar until it liquefied, then I put a little warm milk and let it grow a little.

I mixed in a larger bowl with the rest of the ingredients and kneaded (a little, you will immediately see that it comes off the walls of the bowl). The dough is a little softer and does not stick to the bowl.

Let it rise covered for 30 minutes (you know the scheme with the stove, heat it a little then put the bowl with the dough and close the door), it grows so that it doesn't stop. :))

Meanwhile, prepare the composition to put on top.

Beat the egg with a teaspoon of milk in a bowl.

Mix the flour with the salt and add a little hot water so that a thin pancake-like dough results.

After 30 minutes, turn the dough on a plate greased with a little oil and divide it in two, then in 4 then every quarter in 6, finally resulting in 24 pieces of dough.

Preheat the oven to 240 degrees Celsius (so heat well).

We take a piece of dough, rub our palms with a little oil and spread it on the board resulting in a string of 40-50 cm with a diameter of 1 cm.

Don't stress because the dough is a bit soft, the first pretzel may not come out the best, but then you will see that it works easily.

Form a pretzel, as seen in the pictures and put it in the tray lined with baking paper. I made them a little smaller and when I placed them in the tray I stretched their curls harder. The first ones came out a little thicker but then I made them thinner.

I fit 4 in the big stove tray.

Let them rise for 5 minutes and then grease them with beaten egg.

Put the tray in the oven for 10 minutes until we see that they start to brown slightly. (Keep an eye on the stove and count the minutes that maybe the temperature thing differs depending on the stove).

Remove the tray and sprinkle with the mixture of flour, salt and water. Put the tray for another 5 minutes until they are nicely browned, and the mixture hardens.

Done with them, we take them out quickly, we leave everything and we eat the first portion so that no one sees that they didn't come out so beautiful, then with new forces we model the next ones :))

Cakes in the cake

I just finished a delicious breakfast, which we always make after the holidays, already after a few days it seems like a change to the cake.

4 slices of cake
2 eggs
50 ml of milk
vanilla powdered sugar
Maple syrup

Beat eggs with milk and soften each slice of cake.
Fry until browned on both sides and powder with sugar and serve with maple syrup.

Sweetbread French Toast

There & # 8217s no Christmas in Romania without cozonac, a local version of sweetbread, filled with a walnut paste. It & # 8217s is similar to panettone. But we can & # 8217t eat this forever, so making French toast out of it is a great solution.

4 slices cozonac or panettone
2 eggs
50 ml milk
vanilla flavored powder sugar
maple syrup

Beat the eggs with the milk and dip the sweetbread slices.
Fry until browned on both sides and sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with maple syrup.
