How to make shortcrust pastry with hazelnuts
Toast the hazelnuts in a pan for a few minutes.
Then chop them in a mixer until you get a thin grain.
Put the butter and sugar in a bowl and work until you get a cream.
Add the eggs and let them mix.
Then add the flour, the chopped hazelnuts, the baking powder and the vanilla and start kneading again until a homogeneous dough is formed.
Wrap the hazelnut shortcrust pastry in cling film and leave to rest in the fridge for half an hour.
Now roll out the shortcrust pastry on a floured surface and cut out circles with a cookie cutter. Then go and line the silicone molds with the dough. Place in the oven and bake at 180 ° C for 15 minutes.
Let the shortcrust baskets cool down when stuffed with a generous teaspoon of Nutella.
Decorate each basket with a hazelnut and serve.
