Easter Crescia recipe by of 08-04-2014 [Updated on 10-05-2016]

Easter crescia is a typical Marche cheese savory pie, the recipe is from our friend Marzia who paid me homage to her family recipe. After sending me the photo of his cheese crescia, he invited me to try it and I did not wait and here is the recipe on my blog, accompanied by cured meats and 'really perfect to bring to the table, thanks Marzia for making me know this specialty of your region;) Friends if you have typical recipes for me to try, come forward, I love to travel and I also do it through the kitchen. I'll leave you with today's recipe and wish you a nice day

How to make Easter crescia

Put the flour in a bowl with the yeast in the center with a tablespoon of water and let it melt, then mix to distribute it to the flour

Add the eggs and start kneading

Then add the warmed melted butter, pecorino, salt, pepper, nutmeg

Knead until you get a soft dough

Then put it in a greased mold and let it rise in the oven for about 3 hours

When the crescia has almost reached the edge, bake at 180 ° and cook for about 45/50 minutes

Remove from the oven, let it cool

Serve the cheese crescia to accompany salami and cold cuts
