This is a butter-free recipe, so your croissants will also be quite light, perfect for a super-greedy breakfast or snack. You can stuff them with Nutella, if you want, or with homemade jam. As with all leavened products, after giving the shape you can freeze them: when you feel like it, all you have to do is take one out the night before and bake it as soon as you wake up, in order to have breakfast with a freshly baked croissant;)
How to make yogurt croissants
Put the flours in a bowl, then pour the sugar, eggs, oil, yogurt, grated orange peel, milk and chopped yeast into the center and start kneading.
Also add the salt and continue to work until you get a smooth and homogeneous dough.
Let rise for 2 hours or until doubled.
Deflate the dough with floured hands, divide it in half and roll out both pieces to form a circle.
Divide each circle into 6 wedges.
Take one wedge at a time, stretch gently, make a small cut on the base, then roll up starting right from the base up to the tip and form the classic crescent leaf.
Brush with milk and bake in a preheated static oven at 180 ° C, cook for about 20-25 minutes.
The croissants with yogurt are ready: let them cool completely, sprinkle them with icing sugar and eat them plain or stuff them as you like.
