Preparing soy meatballs at home is healthy and above all economical. In the family we have become big consumers of vegetable products, especially burgers and soy meatballs, the only problem is' the somewhat high cost of this kind of products which often acts as a deterrent to be able to start experimenting with something different. Well by buying the raw material instead, in this case the dehydrated soy flakes, the problem is solved, you will get fantastic soy meatballs that you can enrich each time with the ingredients you like best at a very low cost. How to make vegetable meatballs

Soften the soy flakes in a bowl with hot water for 10 minutes.

Drain and squeeze the soy flakes well.

Cut the carrot and onion into small pieces and brown in a pan with a drizzle of oil.

Add the soy flakes and a mashed boiled potato.

Let the mixture cool then mix everything by adding chopped basil and salt.

With slightly moistened hands, shape into small balls.

Cook the vegetable meatballs in a pan with a drizzle of oil.

Cook for a couple of minutes until golden evenly on all sides.

Then serve the meatballs.
