There almond cake it is a very soft dessert, quick to prepare and with a delicate almond flavor that I personally love. I won't tell you the scent that has begun to spread throughout the kitchen towards the end of cooking: a true delight! You can serve this cake on any occasion: with a little icing sugar it is perfect for breakfast and a snack, but if you add a veil of icing or a scoop of ice cream it can also be an excellent alternative to finish the meal. How to make almond cake
In a bowl, combine the two flours, the yeast and the lemon peel.
In another bowl, combine the yogurt and melted butter.
Separately, whip the whole eggs with the sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
First add the yogurt mixture and then the flours, mixing until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
Pour the mixture into the mold lined with parchment paper and cook for about 40 minutes in a preheated convection oven at 180 ° C.
Once ready, let the almond cake cool completely, then decorate with powdered sugar and sliced almonds.
