This year, chocolate ice cream inaugurated my ice cream maker, easy to make, fresh and creamy, it is perhaps the most famous and appreciated flavor by young and old. There are various recipes to prepare chocolate ice cream, with or without ice cream maker, with cocoa or dark chocolate, with or without eggs, I used a mix of various sources to be able to obtain an ice cream that would meet my tastes and especially to my expectations. How to make chocolate ice cream

In a thick-bottomed saucepan, melt the chocolate together with the cream and milk.

In a bowl, whisk the egg yolks with the sugar.

Pour the egg and sugar mixture into the saucepan with the chocolate, keeping the heat low until it touches the boiling point, to prevent the eggs from cooking.

Mix well, in order to mix all the ingredients well and thus obtain a lump-free chocolate ice cream, turn off and add a few drops of vanilla essence.

Transfer the mixture to a bowl, let it cool and put it in the refrigerator for a few hours.

After the necessary time, transfer everything to the ice cream maker and start it according to the settings. In my case, with the kitchen aid, speed 1 (for about 20 minutes).

Your chocolate ice cream is ready to be served!
