With this recipe I got to the heart of Carnival recipes and it was now I would say, so I leave you at lies stuffed with nutella and stay tuned because other delicacies await you in the coming days;)
How to make Nutella-filled lies
In a large bowl put the flour and sugar, make a hole in the center and add the butter cut into pieces, the eggs, the limoncello, the baking powder and the vanilla essence. Begin to knead from the center, gradually absorbing all the flour.
Transfer the dough to a pastry board and continue to work it until it becomes smooth and homogeneous.
Cover it with cling film and let it rest for half an hour.
Once resumed, cut one piece at a time and roll it out with the pasta machine starting from a numbering that makes the dough more double and gradually arriving at a thinner one.
Place the sheets obtained on a floured pastry board.
Stuffed with small piles of Nutella, well spaced, half of the sheets.
Moisten the edges of the dough and cover with another layer to make it adhere.
Divide the dough into squares by cutting between one filling and another.
Seal the edges well.
Fry 2-3 lies at a time in boiling oil, turning them a couple of times.
Once raised, transfer them to absorbent paper to remove excess oil.
Sprinkle the nutella-filled lies with icing sugar and bring them to the table.
